Today I'm here to review Kid's Academy's Preschool and Kindergarten learning games app. Kid's Academy is one of the leading children's app developers.
App Description from the iTunes Store
"Based on the proven Montessori learning method, Kids Academy develops spelling, writing and reading skills through fascinating games! This app is created to make fun more educational! The app goes beyond simply great graphics and beautiful music by engaging children to learn preschool basics through intriguing game play. Toddlers will start with easy tracing by collecting fireflies in a jar and will move gradually to tracing requiring more developed fine-motor skills. The basic skills in this app are foundations for reading, writing and arithmetic operations. Appropriate hints are provided to support your children as they practice and build their skills."
The Experience
Once you open the app, you will be brought to the home page where you get to select an activity. There are a lot to choose from number tracing, letter tracing and the alphabet or phonics.
This number tracing game rewards you with fireflies.
This app also teaches the alphabet by giving you words that start with each letter.
Kids will also get to learn to write these letter with the letter tracing game.
The app praises you for a job well done.
The Verdict
By far this is my favorite Kids
Academy app. It has got everything from numbers, phonics and the alphabet. They
managed to squeeze in all their other apps into this one.
The app is very easy to use and lives up to the word FUNdamental.
It is very interactive which kids will enjoy. The colors and other graphics are
very vibrant. The animation is very fun to watch. I also love the lively voice
that gives the instructions with great diction and pronunciation. Another great
thing about this app is that it gives encouraging words and praises for a job
well done. This indeed is a great supplemental app for preschoolers and
kindergarteners.
